With the New Year in full gear, I put this piece together with my good friend Chris Aran, reflecting back on what 2017 was.

NEW MUSIC! I decided to remix one of my favorite tracks from one of my favorite bands, the wonderful Cuban/French twins of IBEYI. I've been listening to IBEYI's music for quiet some time now and i'm glad I was able to catch them perform live this past summer in Central Park, NYC. One of the songs that resonated with me the most in terms of the vibes and production, off of their self-titled debut album, was Stranger/Lover (check out their video here). Ever since I heard it live, i've been flirting with the idea of writing a verse to it and it wasn't until I heard Mark Ronson's Re-Fix that I decided to finally sit down and do something cool with it. tho the status might’ve changed
